Just started Lamictal Orange Starter Kit: 25mg/100mg - What to Expect?
I just started taking the Lamictal Orange Starter Kit with 25mg and 100mg doses. I was prescribed it for my bipolar disorder and I know it's important to slowly increase the dosage, but I'm feeling a bit anxious about the side effects I might experience. I've heard it can cause a serious skin rash, so I'm paying close attention to any changes in my skin. Anyone else on this med? What are your experiences?

I don't know man, Lamictal is the worst thing ever. I had to stop after two days. I'm definitely just not the lamictal type.
I had some weird dreams and dizziness when I started, but it went away after a few weeks. You might experience some side effects, but they usually go away.
I love how effective it is, but I hope it doesn't have any weird interactions with my other meds. I'll definitely talk to my doctor about it.
My doc warned me about the skin rash too. Make sure to monitor any changes and call your doctor if you notice anything unusual.
Be careful with your morning dose. It might make you feel a little wobbly at first. Maybe start with a lower dose, then gradually build up.
I know it's weird, but I lost some weight when I started. Not that I was trying to, but it was a nice bonus I guess. Just be careful, it might not be the same for you.
I hope this works for you. My friend had a bad experience with it and stopped taking it. But I think the dosage is key. You'll probably be fine.
