Just started Lamictal XR 100mg – anyone else have experience with this?
Hey everyone, I just started taking Lamictal XR 100mg tablets to help control my seizures. My doctor said it should help stabilize the electrical activity in my brain, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What should I expect in the first few weeks? Any tips for managing side effects would be greatly appreciated!

I wish this worked for me, but it made me super dizzy and I had trouble sleeping. Maybe it's worth giving it a shot, but be prepared for some adjustments.
I’ve had some success with it, but I’ll be glad when I can get off of it. My doctor talked about taking it in the morning and to avoid missing a dose
Lamictal XR helped me a lot with my seizures, but I had to deal with some nasty stomach issues for the first month. It got better, though. Just hang in there!
Be careful with this one. I had a pretty bad rash and had to stop taking it. Make sure to stay in touch with your doctor about any side effects.
I had some trouble sleeping when I started, but it might have been from the stress of dealing with seizures. It got better after a week
