Lamictal XR helped stabilize my moods, but the drowsiness was intense at first. Make sure you're not driving or doing anything dangerous until you know how it affects you.
I had some really weird side effects like changes in vision and severe joint pain. I had to stop taking it because it was affecting my daily life too much. Hope you have a better experience!
I've had some trouble with low blood cell counts. If you feel super weak or get infections easily, get to a doctor ASAP. It's not worth risking your health.
I've been on Lamictal for years and it's been great. Just be patient with the dose increase and monitor for any skin issues closely. I check my skin daily for any rash or irritation. It's a bit of a hassle, but worth it to catch any issues early.
