Just started Levoxyl 0.112mg (112mcg) tablets for hypothyroidism - Any advice or experiences to share?
I was recently diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and my doctor prescribed Levoxyl 0.112mg (112mcg) tablets. I've heard a lot about how this can greatly improve energy levels and overall well-being, but I'm also a bit nervous about the side effects. I've read about everything from hair loss to allergic reactions? Has anyone had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Also, any tips on managing potential side effects would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I wish I had know how much it affects your weight before I started. I've lost 15 pounds in two months without changing my diet. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise?!
I think it's funny how everyone on this thread is talking about side effects and I'm over here like, “Y'all are weird, I feel totally normal
I was so worried about the side effects but honestly, I've had none. Knock on wood! Good luck!
Be prepared for some ups and downs as your body adjusts. I had a bit of hair loss at first, but it grew back. Stick with it!
I had a bad reaction to it. I get muscle cramps. Doc switched me to another brand and I feel much better. I don't want to scare you, just be aware.
I switched to a generic brand and noticed no difference at all. Save some money and do the same!
