Hey everyone, I just started Lumakras 240mg Tablets for my non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with the KRAS G12C mutation. I'm feeling a bit anxious about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else been on this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Also, what should I do if I start experiencing the electrolyte problems that come with treatment? I've heard that they can be quite challenging to deal with. Should I be concerned if I don't start experiencing the side effects straight away? Also, which valid side effects should I look out for? How should I be managing them? All advice appreciated!

I've heard some people experience serious side effects but this is rare. Stay hopeful, the early side effects do get easier to manage after a few weeks. The worst is usually over when you've been on it for a month.

Don't worry too much about the side effects. Everyone is different. I had a friend who took this and she didn't experience any problems at all! You could be one of the lucky ones! ☺️

I started experiencing the electrolyte issues early on. My doctor put me on supplements to manage it. Monitor your symptoms carefully and keep going for regular check-ups. It's better to catch any issues early.

I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but I'm glad you're getting treated. I really hope Lumakras works for you. Fingers crossed!

Consider keeping a journal of your symptoms and how you're feeling. It can be really helpful for tracking patterns and discussing them with your doctor.

Keep an eye out for the electrolyte problems, and if you experience a lot of hydration issues, they might say you're responsive to the product as it usually happens when you're responding to it well.

I've been on Lumakras for about six months now. The first few weeks were tough with some stomach issues and fatigue, but it got better. Make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. If you feel really bad, don't hesitate to call your doctor, they can give you some tips for managing the symptoms.

Hang in there! I was worried about the same things, but my doctor reassured me that the serious side effects are rare. Just keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and report them right away.
