I was prescribed Naproxen 750mg ER Tablets for arthritis pain and inflammation. I've been taking it for a week now, and while it does help with the pain, I'm a bit worried about the side effects. The list of possible side effects is quite extensive, and I've seen some scary stories online. I know everyone's body reacts differently, so I'm curious to hear from anyone else who's taken this medication. How often do these serious side effects actually occur? What's the difference between the typical side effects and the more severe ones? I'm particularly worried about the bleeding and kidney problems mentioned in the urgent side effects section. Has anyone else had to deal with these issues? Also, does anyone know if there are any alternatives to Naproxen that might have fewer side effects? I'd appreciate any insights or personal experiences you can share. This is a bit overwhelming, so I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing and not endangering my health.

If you're worried about bleeding, keep an eye out for any unusual bruising or blood in your urine or stool, such as black or tarry stools. It's rare, but it's good to be aware. Also, avoid alcohol while taking Naproxen. It can increase the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding.

I've been on Naproxen for a few months now, and the only side effect I've experienced is occasional stomach pain. It's manageable, but I always take it with food to help prevent it. I did have a lot of anxiety about the side effects at first. I talked to my doctor, and she assured me that the severe side effects are quite rare. It's good to be aware, but try not to worry too much. Just keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and stay in touch with your doctor.

I switched to Celebrex after having issues with Naproxen. It's supposed to be gentler on the stomach and kidneys. It might be worth looking into if you have concerns.

Naproxen saved my life when I was in pain. I can't believe people are so worried about it. It's such a great drug. I just don't understand what the problem is.
