Just started Neurontin 600mg for nerve pain – anyone else on this dose?
I've been dealing with nerve pain for a while and my doctor prescribed Neurontin 600mg tablets. I've heard it can be a bit tricky to manage, but I'm hoping it will help. Just wanted to see if anyone else is on this dose and what their experiences have been like. How did you find it helps or doesn't with nerve pain? Any advice for managing side effects? Do you have any tips for me?

I've been on Neurontin for years. It's a miracle drug for me. Just be aware of the side effects, especially the drowsiness. Hopefully it works out for you!
I take the 600mg tablets too. You're gonna have to be patient, it takes a few weeks to really kick in. You need to space the doses effectively.
Beware of the weight gain. I gained 20 pounds in the first few months. But it does help with the pain.
I switched to a different medication because Neurontin made me feel so out of it. Everyone is different, though. Good luck!
