I was recently prescribed Nexletol 180mg to help lower my LDL cholesterol levels. My doctor explained that it works by blocking an enzyme in the liver to help reduce cholesterol production. I've read the pamphlet and know it can cause some pretty serious side effects if they occur. Does anyone have any experience with Nexletol? I'm curious to hear about any side effects you might have encountered, or if it has worked well for you. The other day I woke up with a rash and thought it was Nexletol, but it turned out to be a reaction to some new laundry detergent...I hope I don't have to worry about that with my meds now too.

I had no idea that Nexletol could cause tendon injuries. That's crazy. I'm glad I read this thread now, I'll make sure to keep an eye out for that.

I had no idea that Nexletol could cause gallstones. That's terrifying. I think I'll stick with my current medication. Thanks for the info, though!

I started Nexletol and had a really bad reaction. I was having trouble breathing and felt like my throat was closing up. Scary stuff. I had to go to the ER and they told me to stop taking it immediately. I might need to try a different medication.

Nexletol saved my life. My doctor said that my cholesterol levels were so high that I was at risk for a heart attack. Plus it was nice to know that my heart problems wouldn't be as bad as they could be. I've been on it for a year now, and my cholesterol is finally under control. I did have some back pain at first, but it was manageable. It's worth it to be healthier.

I've been on Nexletol for about 6 months now, and I haven't had any issues so far. It's helped lower my cholesterol levels, and the only side effects I've noticed are some mild muscle spasms. A lot of people worry about the side effects but I feel lucky to have avoided them.

My mom has been taking Nexletol for years. She had some joint pain at first, but it went away after a few weeks. She swears by it now. It's important to listen to your body and report any issues to your doctor, though. It can be a game-changer for some people but it might not be for others

I've been on Nexletol for about a month now, and the only side effect I've noticed is some mild stomach pain. Nothing I can't handle, though. I'm just glad my cholesterol is finally coming down. My doctor said give it a few months and it might get better.

I read that Nexletol can cause high uric acid levels. Does anyone know if that's common? I have a family history of gout, so I'm a bit worried.

I'm scared to even start taking this stuff. I mean, tendon injuries? No thanks. Has anyone had any tendon issues from this?
