Hey everyone, I was recently prescribed Nitrostat 0.3mg (1/200gr) subt 100 for angina. I've been trying to manage it for a while, but my doctor thought I should be taking some medication and that Nitrostat would work best. Has anyone else tried this out? I have to say I am worried about some of the side effects. Did you have more of the urgent side effects, or just more of the minor ones? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had some flushing and excessive sweating when I first started, but it went away after a few days. Just make sure to keep a close eye on how you feel.

I have had some minor side effects but nothing too bad. Just stick to your dosage and keep talking to your doctor about what's going on.

I had to stop taking it because of some severe side effects. I couldn't handle the restlessness and fatigue. Have you tried any other medications?

I've heard some horror stories about this medication, but I think it really depends on the individual. My dad took it and it helped a lot.

I've been on Nitrostat for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver. The side effects were a bit scary at first, but I only had some minor dizziness and headaches. Stick with it, and let your doctor know if anything feels off!

I take Nitrostat 2mg. 0.3mg seems too low?

I wish I could stop taking Nitrostat. It sucks but helps my chest pain so much. I believe the side effects are worth it.

Be careful with the flushing. I thought I was having an allergic reaction at first.

I take Nitrostat and almost feel normal again. The worst for me was when I had an allergic reaction — had to get my doctor to change something up to avoid that.
