I've been diagnosed with both anxiety and depression lately and my doctor prescribed me Paroxetine ER 37.5mg Tablets. I've heard it can help with both conditions, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the ones related to serotonin syndrome. Has anyone else tried this medication? What was your experience like? I'm really hoping it helps, but I want to be prepared for any issues that might come up.

I also want to know if anyone has had issues with the extended-release aspect. Does it really make a difference in how you feel throughout the day? I'm curious to hear from anyone who's been on it for a while and how it's affected their daily life.

I've tried a few SSRIs and Paroxetine ER was the one that worked best for me. It's been a lifesaver for my panic attacks, but I did have some sexual side effects that were a bummer. Talk to your doctor if that happens, they might be able to adjust your dose or switch you to something else.

Extended-release is great for remembering to take it once a day but it can be intense at first. Stick with it and give your body time to adjust. It gets better!

I had a weird side effect where I felt like I was vibrating all the time. Turns out it was a mild form of muscle twitching. It was scary, but it went away after a few weeks. Make sure to talk to your doctor about any side effects, no matter how weird.

I was really worried about serotonin syndrome, but my doctor explained that it's rare and usually only happens if you're taking other medications that affect serotonin levels. Just be sure to talk to your doctor about all the medications and supplements you're taking.

I've been on Paroxetine ER for about 6 months now. It took a few weeks to really kick in, but it's been a game-changer for my anxiety. I had some initial side effects like dizziness and drowsiness, but they faded after a couple of weeks. Just remember to take it at the same time every day because of the extended-release.

I’ve been on Paroxetine ER for a year now, and it’s been a lifesaver for both my anxiety and depression. I did have some initial weight gain and fatigue, but they went away after a few months. The extended-release format makes it easy to manage. It's worth the wait.

Be careful with this one. I had a bad experience with Paroxetine. I started feeling really weird, like I couldn't focus or remember things. Turns out my sodium levels were low. It was scary, but my doctor caught it in time. If you feel anything off, get checked out.

I’m really hoping Paroxetine ER helps me out. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression for years, and this is my last hope before therapy. Fingers crossed!

Good luck! I remember when I started, I felt like a zombie for the first week. But after that, it was worth it. Just give it time.

Does anyone know if it's safe to drink alcohol while on Paroxetine ER? I'm not sure if it's a bad idea or not.
