I've been prescribed Pramipexole 0.125mg tablets to manage my restless legs syndrome (RLS). My doctor said it would help with the uncomfortable sensations and the urge to move my legs. Has anyone else taken this medication? What should I expect in the first few weeks? I've read about some serious side effects, and while I hope I don't experience them, I want to be prepared. How common are these side effects? Would really appreciate any tips or experiences you can share.

I've been on Pramipexole for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver for my RLS. The first few weeks were a bit tough with some dizziness and headaches, but they went away. Plus I have been feeling pretty good and active after taking them. No nightmares yet!

Be careful with this medication. My mom took it for Parkinson's. She developed some eye problems and had a spot of hallucinations so she had to stop, but the drug helped her movement a lot when she was taking it..

I noticed some weight loss and vivid dreams., but I’d say it’s worth it for the relief from RLS.

I had some sleep issues, but not much trouble getting around.

I had muscle spasms and general aches, but I didn't get anything worse, except vivid dreams. I had no idea these things would be causing me to dream so vividly. I thought I was losing my mind.

I ended up with some dizziness and flu-like symptoms. I told my doctor and they helped me adjust the dosage. I didn't experience any extreme urges or sleepiness.
