Hey everyone, I've just been prescribed Prednisolone ODT 10mg Tablets for my asthma. I've heard it can help with inflammation and calming down the immune system, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? What side effects did you have? I'm also curious about how the Orally Disintegrating Tablet form works – does it really dissolve that quickly in your mouth? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I took prednisolone for a skin condition and it worked great. But I did have some pretty bad headaches and felt really tired all the time. I also had some weird muscle pain and cramps. It was annoying, but I guess it's better than dealing with the skin issue.

I had no idea this stuff could cause all these side effects. I might have to look into some other options for my allergies.

Try to take it in the morning so you don't have trouble sleeping at night. But be prepared for the increased appetite – I was starving all the time!

How long are you supposed to take it? I remember my doctor saying it's not for long-term use.

Be careful with this one. I had a friend who ended up with severe mood swings and even some vision changes. If you notice anything weird, call your doctor ASAP.

I had to take prednisolone for a while due to a severe skin condition. It worked wonders, but I did experience some of the more serious side effects like increased blood pressure and even signs of Cushing's syndrome (moon face, weight gain). I had to stop taking it because of it.
