I was just prescribed Prednisolone Sod Phos 5mg/5ml Sol to manage some severe allergic reactions I've been having. I've heard a lot about the potential side effects and I'm a bit nervous. I've been reading up, and it seems like there's a lot of information out there, but I was wondering if anyone has personal experience with this medication. How did you manage the side effects? Did you notice any improvements in your condition? I'm also curious about the long-term effects and if anyone has had to stop using it for that reason. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on Prednisolone for a while now. The side effects were tough at first—the weight gain, mood swings, and insomnia were the worst. But my doctor helped me manage them. Stick with it, and listen to your doctor's advice!

It's not all doom and gloom. For me the sides were mild and it knocked out my inflammation in no time. Just take it as prescribed and don't forget to drink plenty of water and take calcium.

My friend was on Prednisolone for a while and had some severe mood swings. It was tough on her. She came off it eventually.

I started taking Prednisolone before an allergic reaction flare up and it was life-changing. The thing to watch out for is the Cushing's syndrome you mentioned. I'd rather take the weight gain risk than the chance of getting sick again.

Feeling your pain. I have to use it for my asthma sometimes. But just remember to watch your diet while on it. The increased appetite can be brutal.

Prednisolone can mess with your immune system, so be extra careful about infections. I ended up with a nasty case of shingles because of it. Make sure you talk to your doctor about any signs of infection.
