I was recently prescribed Prednisone 2.5mg Tablets to manage my arthritis symptoms. I've heard some pretty scary things about the side effects, and I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone else taken this medication? What were your experiences like? Any tips on managing the side effects or advice on how to talk to my doctor about my concerns?

I've been on it for years and the side effects lessened over time. It may just be those first few weeks that are rough. Hang in there!

I've never had any issues with Prednisone, but I've heard horror stories from friends. Just keep an eye out for any signs of infection or allergic reactions, and call your doctor right away if you experience anything unusual.

I've been on Prednisone for a while now, and while it helped with my allergies, I did experience some weight gain and mood swings. Just be sure to monitor your diet and stay in touch with your doctor.

Be mindful of the exact dosage and don't try to adjust it yourself. If you miss a dose, don't try to double up the next time. It can lead to a lot of unwanted problems.

I was really worried about the side effects too, but my doctor assured me that they're rare. I only had some mild nausea and dizziness at first, but it went away after a few days. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions closely.

My friend had a severe allergic reaction to Prednisone. It's scary stuff, so definitely be cautious and keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction. It's better to be safe!

Be careful with your diet. I gained a lot of weight when I was on Prednisone, but I managed to lose it once I got off the meds. Just stick to a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
