I've just started taking Pretomanid 200mg Tablets as part of my treatment regimen for drug-resistant tuberculosis. I'm taking it along with bedaquiline and linezolid, and I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has experience with this combination. What side effects did you encounter, and how did you manage them? My doctor has warned me about the potential for severe side effects, so I'm eager to learn from others who have been through this journey. Also, I'd love to hear about any tips for dealing with the more common side effects like gastrointestinal issues or sleep disturbances. I want to make sure I'm taking the best care of myself during this treatment process.

I had a mild rash early on, but it went away after a few days. My doctor said it might have been an allergic reaction and to monitor it closely. Had to switch to a different cream.

Wow, the side effects list for this is terrifying. Has anyone here had any really serious side effects that landed them in the hospital?

I had serious balance problems and nerve issues (burning, numbness, tingling) while on Pretomanid. It was scary at first, but my doctor assured me it was a known side effect. I managed it with physical therapy and occupational therapy. My advice is to stay in touch with your medical team and report any weird symptoms right away.

Pretomanid is a powerful drug, but it's important to stick to the regimen. I missed a dose once and my doctor freaked out — turns out, it can reduce the effectiveness of the entire treatment if you're not consistent.

I had to switch to a medical diet during my treatment. It made the process a lot easier and helped me avoid some of the more common side effects. Definitely worth considering with your doctor if you've been experiencing symptoms.

What a bad side effect list, especially the high blood pressure warning. I don't have any personal experience with Pretomanid, but be super careful and watch for those signs. They can flare up fast.

I was on Pretomanid for about six months. The worst part for me was the gastrointestinal issues, but they weren't unbearable. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helped a lot.
