I've just started taking Prolia 60mg/ml injections every six months for osteoporosis. It's been prescribed to help strengthen my bones and reduce the risk of fractures. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What are some of the common side effects, and how bad are they? I'm a bit nervous about the potential for jawbone problems, especially since I've had some dental work done recently. Any tips on managing the side effects or general advice on living with Prolia would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard stories about severe allergic reactions. Make sure to stay close to medical help the first time you get the injection, just in case.

I was really worried about the jawbone problems, but my doctor assured me that as long as I maintain good dental hygiene and avoid invasive dental procedures while on Prolia, I should be fine.

I had some trouble with low calcium levels when I started Prolia. Make sure to eat a lot of calcium-rich foods and talk to your doctor about supplements. Also, watch out for any signs of infection.

I've been on Prolia for about a year now. The injections are a bit intimidating at first, but they're manageable. I did experience some muscle pain initially, but it went away after a few days. No jaw problems yet, knock on wood!

I had some bad muscle pain after my first injection, but it got better. I heard calcium is your best friend on Prolia?

I've been on Prolia for two years. My bone density has improved, and I haven't had any serious side effects. Just be aware of the signs of infection and low calcium levels.
