Hey everyone, I was just diagnosed with Crohn's and my doctor prescribed Pyzchiva 45mg/0.5ml. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. I've read about things like infections, allergic reactions, and even rare brain conditions. Has anyone else been on this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Also, any tips on managing the injections would be great. I'm not a fan of needles, so any advice on making the process smoother would be appreciated!

So, if you experience any signs of infection or allergic reaction, you should head straight to the ER? I've had some strange symptoms, but I don't want to overreact.

The side effects sound scary, but my doctor said they're rare. I just started the injections, and it's SUCH a relief to finally have a treatment plan.

I'm glad to hear that Pyzchiva has helped so many people! I'm hoping for the same. Thanks for sharing your experiences. It's really helpful to hear from others going through the same thing.

I had a bad reaction to my first shot. I got the chills and a fever. I had to stop taking it. I hope that doesn't happen to you. I'm on a different medication now.

I'm curious, how often do you have to do the injections? I know it varies. I'm hoping I can get an idea of how often I need to deal with this.

I'm on my second week of injections and so far so good. Have you thought about using a numbing cream for the injection site? It's a lifesaver. My doctor recommended Emla cream, and it really helped with the pain.

I switched to Pyzchiva six months ago. I've had a few weeks where I couldn't stop coughing up what felt like a whole lung. I wish there was more info on how much it can impact your respiratory health.
