I was recently diagnosed with interstitial cystitis and prescribed the Rimso-50 50% Solution. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects and the process of having the medication given directly into the bladder. Has anyone else tried this treatment? What was your experience like? How long did it take to see any improvement in symptoms? Also, any tips on dealing with the garlic-like smell afterwards? Thanks in advance!

Rimso-50 has been a game-changer for me. Make sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns. They can offer advice tailored to your situation.

I found that Rimso-50 worked better for me when combined with physical therapy. It’s worth discussing with your healthcare provider if you have chronic pain.

I've been using Rimso-50 for about six months now. It definitely helped with the pain and inflammation, but the garlic smell was pretty bad at first. Drinking plenty of water and taking minty gum helped a bit. Stick with it if you can, the benefits are worth it.

This medication is a lifesaver for me. I had severe pain before starting Rimso-50, and now it’s manageable. The side effects are minor compared to the relief it brings.

I didn't have any serious side effects, just a bit of irritation where the catheter was inserted. Make sure to follow your doctor's instructions to the letter. It’s crucial for minimizing risks.

I'm on my third treatment and it's been a rollercoaster. Some days are great, others not so much. But overall, it's helped more than anything else I've tried.

I had a weird allergic reaction the first time I used it. My skin got all itchy and red. My doctor said it was rare but possible. If you experience anything like that, seek medical attention right away.

The side effects were worth it for me. I didn't really notice the garlic smell after a few days. But everyone is different, so just be prepared for potential discomfort.

Be prepared for some discomfort during the procedure, but it's manageable. I found that using a heating pad on the lower abdomen afterwards helped reduce any cramping.

I wish they had told me about the garlic smell earlier. It was a bit alarming at first, but it fades. Just be prepared and keep some breath mints handy.
