I recently started using the Secuado 3.8mg/24hr TD Patch to manage my schizophrenia. I've heard mixed reviews about the side effects and how well it works for different people. Has anyone else tried this medication? What has been your experience with it? Why did you start or stop using it? I'm curious to know if it's helped anyone significantly or if there were any unexpected issues. Any advice or personal stories would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to keep an eye on your blood sugar levels. Some people have reported issues with high blood sugar while on Secuado. It's better to be safe and monitor it regularly.

I was on it for a bit but stopped because of the weight gain. I gained 20 pounds in just 2 months. It was tough to deal with, so I switched to something else.

Secuado works for some people but not everyone. I've seen studies that show it can be really effective for certain types of schizophrenia, but it depends on your specific symptoms. Classic antipsychotics are not as good, but there are other second-generation antipsychotics too. If you have side effects, talk to your doctor. There are other options if this doesn't work out.

I switched from oral asenapine to the patch because I hated taking pills every day. The patch has been a lifesaver for me. I've had minimal side effects so far, just a bit of dizziness sometimes. Stick with it and see how it goes.

I've had trouble with muscle stiffness and twitching. It's not bad, but it's noticeable. Gonna talk to my doc about it soon.

I take Secuado too. It definitely helps with the positive symptoms, but I've had some issues with the patches falling off. Any tips on how to keep them secure?

I've just been prescribed it, and I'm currently a little scared. Any time I put a patch on, I'm worried. But after reading these, I feel a little better.
