I recently began treatment with Sod Phenlac/benz 10-10% Inj, 20ml via IV infusion to help manage high ammonia levels in my blood. My doctor explained that this medication is crucial for conditions where the body can't properly eliminate ammonia, which can be particularly dangerous for brain function. I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How was your experience with the infusion process? Did you encounter any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any long-term effects or tips for coping with this treatment. Let's share our experiences and support each other through this journey!

They had to take blood tests every other day to monitor my ammonia levels. It was a hassle, but it helped my doctor adjust the dosage. My ammonia levels were resistant to the dosage changes so we had to swap it with diazimone.

Make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your potassium levels. Low potassium was a big issue for me, but my doctor adjusted my electrolytes and it helped a lot.

This medication saved my life. I had encephalopathy from liver disease, and this drug helped clear the ammonia from my system. It's not easy, but it's worth it.

My friend was on this and had some serious side effects. They ended up in the hospital with seizures. Scary stuff. They had to take a break and skip a few doses it was so bad.

I've been on this for a few months. The infusion itself is easy, but the side effects can be tough. I had some muscle cramps and felt really weak at first.

I had a really bad reaction to this medication. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to stop taking it. If you experience any of these symptoms seek medical help right away and refrain from taking any more.
