I've been prescribed Candesartan HCT 32-25mg Tablets for high blood pressure. The combination of Candesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide has me a bit worried about side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? I'm particularly concerned about the possibility of skin cancer from the Hydrochlorothiazide. Any tips on protecting myself from sun exposure while taking this?

I've experienced the Flu-like symptoms and Severe dizziness with this drug, but it's helped my blood pressure a lot. It's a trade-off, but worth it for me.

Dizzy but worth saving your brain from stroke. But seriously, keep an eye on those blood sugar levels too, they can go way up.

I had a pretty bad allergic reaction to this drug. I recommend keeping an eye out for any unusual reactions, especially in the first few weeks. It's scary, but better safe than sorry!

If you have any concerns at all, talk to your doctor. They can help you manage the side effects or switch you to a different medication if needed.

To protect yourself from skin cancer, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and avoid peak sun hours. Regular skin checks are also crucial as long as you are taking this.

This drug has been a game-changer for me. My blood pressure is finally under control, and I haven't had any serious side effects. Just make sure to keep an eye on your electrolytes and stay hydrated. Also, regular check-ups with your doctor are a must.

I've been on this medication for about 6 months and haven't had any major issues. The dizziness was a bit rough at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated!

My doctor recommended taking this medication with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset. It's been working well for me.

I’ve heard some people experience severe kidney problems. Make sure to keep monitoring those symptoms and talk to your doctor if anything feels off. The kidney issues are rare, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
