I had a pretty rough time with the headaches. I had to take extra painkillers, which weren't pleasant. But the shingles cleared up quickly, so it was worth it.
I had shingles a few years back and Famvir helped a lot. Just follow your doctor's instructions and you should be okay. Take it easy and give your body time to heal.
