I was recently prescribed Fosrenol 750mg Oral Powder Stick Pk for managing my phosphorus levels due to kidney disease. I have been taking it for the past week. I'm curious about how others are managing side effects, especially those related to the stomach like diarrhea and upset stomach. Do you have any tips or tricks to make it more manageable? How long before the side effects go away? Any tips on how to manage severe constipation? I'm ready to call my doctor, but I'm wondering if anyone has found alternatives before reaching out. The urgent side effects worry me a lot - how closely should I monitor these symptoms?

I found that taking it with a full glass of water and staying hydrated throughout the day helped me a lot with the stomach issues.

Don't worry about the side effects too much – they usually go away after a while. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take it with food. Severe constipation and stomach pain are rare, so keep an eye on those but don't expect them.

Honestly, I think Fosrenol is much better than some other options out there. I've tried a few different phosphorus binders, and this one is the easiest to manage for me. Stick with it and give it some time to see if the side effects improve.

I had the same issue with constipation. I found that adding more fiber to my diet and using a stool softener helped me a lot. Talk to your doctor before changing anything in your regimen, but this combination worked for me.
