I was recently prescribed Levorphanol 2mg Tablets for severe pain management after my surgery. The list of side effects is quite scary, and I'm worried about the risks of addiction and breathing problems. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What are the chances of experiencing severe side effects? Are these risks worth the pain relief? I'm trying to weigh the benefits and drawbacks, but I could really use some insights from people who have been there.

Make sure to avoid alcohol while on this medication. It can exacerbate the side effects and make things much worse. Stay safe and take care of yourself!

I can see why you're worried. I had a friend who got addicted to pain meds after surgery. Maybe consider asking your doctor about alternative pain management options or physical therapy to supplement the medication. I've heard of people having success with a multidisciplinary approach.

I had some pretty wild dreams on this stuff. Nothing too disturbing, but it was definitely weird. Just a heads-up!

I was on this for a while after my back surgery. The pain relief was amazing, but I did experience some dizziness and constipation. Nothing too severe, though. Just make sure to stay hydrated and talk to your doctor about managing the side effects.

Levorphanol can be life-saving for severe pain, but it's not a medication to take lightly. Make sure you have a support system in place and that your doctor is monitoring you closely. It might be worth looking into addiction recovery resources proactively, just in case, even if you end up being okay.
