I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and my doctor prescribed Thyroid 2gr (120mg) Tablets. I'm a bit nervous about starting a new medication, especially one that involves hormones. I've read about the potential side effects, and while some of them seem scary, my doctor assured me that they are rare. I'm curious to know if anyone else here has experience with this medication. How did you find the transition? Did you experience any side effects initially? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to hearing from others who might have gone through a similar experience. Does anyone have any positive stories or improvements in their health that they've seen since starting this medication?

I switched to Thyroid 2gr from levothyroxine because I wasn't feeling right on the synthetic hormone. The desiccated thyroid made a big difference for me. I had some initial side effects like hair loss and diarrhea, but they went away after a few months. Stick with it, and hopefully, it will work for you too!

I've been on Thyroid 2gr for about a year now. It took a few months to find the right dosage, but once I did, I felt so much better. My energy levels are up, and I don't feel as tired all the time. My doctor monitored me closely at the beginning, which was really helpful. Just be patient and communicate with your doctor about any changes you notice.

I had to switch back to levothyroxine because of heart palpitations. It wasn't for me. But everyone's different, so don't give up hope!

Anyone else notice changes in their menstrual cycle? Mine was all over the place at first. Doctor said it was normal.

I've been on it for 5 years now and it's been a life saver. No more brain fog or weight gain. Just do what your doctor says and you'll be fine.

Make sure to get your thyroid levels checked regularly. It's crucial to stay on top of your dosage. My doctor wants me to come in every 3 months at first.
