I've just started taking Trijardy XR 25mg/5mg/1000mg Tabs for managing my diabetes and high cholesterol. It's a combination of empagliflozin, linagliptin, and metformin. I'm curious to know if anyone else has been on this medication and what their experiences have been. I'm particularly interested in hearing about any side effects, how long it took to see improvements, and any tips for dealing with side effects. I've heard about some serious side effects like kidney problems and pancreatitis, so I'm a bit nervous. Also, how does anyone handle the common cold symptoms and nose/throat irritation that can come with it?

I had a bit of panic when I first read the side effects list, but my doctor assured me that serious reactions are rare. Just keep an eye out for anything unusual and stay in touch with your healthcare provider.

I wish I had known about the electrolyte imbalance before starting this. I had some pretty scary symptoms and it took a while to figure out what was going on.

Be careful with the heat and dehydration. I had some kidney issues that got resolved when I upgraded my water intake.

I've been luckier than some. I haven’t experienced any major issues beyond a bit of an upset stomach. But I've heard nightmares from those who did. Just stay vigilant, folks.

I've been on it for a while and honestly, the common cold symptoms have been the worst. I'm constantly dealing with a sore throat and runny nose. Haven't heard much about this from others, though.

Don't forget to report any side effects to the FDA. The more data they have, the better they can help future patients.

I've been on Trijardy XR for about six months now, and it's been a game-changer for my blood sugar levels. The first few weeks were tough with some stomach upset and occasional joint pain, but it's gotten much better. Make sure to stay hydrated and take it with food if you have upset stomach.

Sleepy, weak, and dizzy... sound familiar? My doc said it was low blood sugar.

Serious question: Has anyone here experienced severe joint pain? I've been having some issues and I'm not sure if it's related to the meds. It's getting hard to go about my daily routine.
