I recently started using Diprolene 0.05% Lotion for my eczema, and I'm not sure what to expect. The medication has been prescribed to help reduce inflammation, redness, and itching. My dermatologist described this lotion as a strong steroid solution. While I'm hopeful that it will help with my skin condition, I'm also a bit concerned about the potential side effects mentioned in the patient leaflet. Like any steroid medication, using Diprolene long-term isn't ideal, but sometimes it's a necessary step to get things under control. Has anyone else tried using Diprolene 0.05% Lotion? Did you find it effective? I'm curious about both positive and negative experiences. Also, what advice do you have for managing the side effects? I would appreciate any tips or suggestions on using this medication.

Be very careful with this stuff. I used it for a while and ended up with some nasty side effects. I had a constant burning sensation and my skin got really thin. It was terrifying. I'm not saying don't use it, but be aware of the risks.

I used Diprolene for a month. It worked well for my eczema, but I noticed some thinning of the skin. I've switched to a milder topical now to try and repair the damage. Make sure to talk to your doctor about when to stop using it.

I'm currently using it for eczema and it works amazing. I feel like I can finally wear my favorite shirts again. A little bit of burning after putting it on, but totally worth the itch relief.

I used this for a while and noticed my skin getting really thin and bruising easily. It was awful. I stopped using it and switched to a different topical cream. Be careful, everyone's skin reacts differently.

I used Diprolene for my psoriasis and it was fantastic. My skin cleared up in no time. I highly recommend it, but definitely talk to your doctor about how to use it safely.
