I've recently been prescribed Flutic/salmeterol 113/14mcg Inh(60) to manage my COPD symptoms. It's a combination inhaler with fluticasone and salmeterol. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How has it worked for you? Any tips on managing side effects? I'm especially concerned about the serious ones like allergic reactions and breathing problems. Also, how often do you use it? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I had a similar experience with throat irritation, but it went away after a couple of weeks. Just make sure to rinse your mouth after using the inhaler to help prevent that. I also had a few headaches in the beginning, but those faded over time.

I've been on this for a year now and honestly, it's been a game-changer. I used to have constant wheezing and coughing, but now it's almost non-existent. Just make sure you're following the instructions carefully, especially about rinsing your mouth after use to avoid throat irritation.

Exactly, this inhaler is for long-term control, not for quick relief. Always keep a rescue inhaler handy for sudden breathing issues.

I've been using it for a few months now, and I've definitely noticed an improvement in my lung function. Just remember to use it regularly as prescribed. I initially skipped a few doses and felt my symptoms worsening, but staying consistent with the medication has helped a lot. Also, take it around the same time each day to keep a steady dose in your system; I've found this helps maintain better control over the symptoms.

I had a few questions about this inhaler. What tips do you have for using an inhaler correctly? Also, I heard that it shouldn't be used for sudden breathing problems.

I've heard that some people experience weight gain as a side effect. Has anyone else dealt with that? I'm already a bit overweight, and I don't need any more problems.

Ive had a few friends try it and they said it made their breathing way better but Ive heard it can sometimes make some people feel more anxious or shaky especially if you're prone to anxiety. I think it's because of the bronchodilator.

A lot of people forget that this isn't a rescue inhaler. It's for daily use to reduce inflammation and keep symptoms in check. Don't be tempted to use it for sudden attacks.
