I was prescribed Halog 0.1% Cream for my psoriasis and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've heard it can be pretty strong, and I'm worried about things like skin thinning or even signs of Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone else had experience with this? Any tips on how to use it safely and effectively would be hugely appreciated. I'm also curious if anyone has found ways to mitigate the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones.

Try not to use too much, it gets too much steroid all over your body. I noticed weight gain in my belly and my face was all puffy. Scary stuff.

This stuff is scary. Keep an eye out for any signs of high blood sugar. I had to stop using it because I was passing urine all day.

I've had a weird experience with this. I used it as directed, but I ended up with pimples everywhere. I had to cut back on the cream, because the side effects were getting out of hand. And you need to be careful about higher blood sugars. I've heard some people have had a spike. So it's important to keep track of your blood sugar and if you're diabetic, make sure your doctor knows you're on this.
