I was given Inveltys 1% Ophth Susp 2.8ml by my doctor after a recent eye surgery. I’m using it for an infection but they also work great to reduce swelling, redness, and pain by calming down the body's natural inflammatory response However, I’m a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I’ve been experiencing short-term pain after using the medication, but I was so hopeful it would help. I need to remind myself it's common. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I saw a few severe side effects that I need to look out for, including signs of an allergic reaction, eye pain, eye irritation, and changes in eyesight. I’m trying to stay positive and follow my doctor’s orders, but it’s hard not to worry. Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated!

Keep a eye on your vision. If it changes suddenly, get to a doctor fast!

I’m pretty sure I had loteprednol in my eye drops years back, maybe not this specific one, but I’m 99% sure it’s the same stuff. I was super worried about the side effects but would say 99.99% nothing happens. I just got a little weird feeling. Maybe they’ve changed the formula.

If you are having trouble with the dropper, just ask your doc for a different type. They can change it to a single use tube that might be easier, but they have to prescribe it. It’s tiny and you can use it two or three times.
