I've just started using Lidodose 3% Topical Solution for some minor skin procedures at home. It's supposed to help with pain management during the procedure. Does anyone have any tips on how to apply it effectively? I'm also a bit concerned about the side effects listed, like allergic reactions, acidosis, and methemoglobinemia. Has anyone experienced any of these? What should I be on the lookout for?

I’ve used lidocaine for tattoos before and honestly, it’s a lifesaver. Just make sure you don’t use too much at once and keep an eye on how your skin reacts.

I’ve used this before for a minor skin procedure. Just make sure to clean the area thoroughly before applying and follow the instructions carefully. As for side effects, I didn't experience anything severe, but I did notice some redness around the application site. It's always good to be cautious, though.

I had a bad reaction to a topical cream once, ended up with a rash and itching. Definitely keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction.

I’ve seen a doctor mention methemoglobinemia before—it’s rare but serious. If you notice any blue or gray discoloration, especially around the lips and nails, seek medical help right away. Always good to be cautious.

I had to use lidocaine for a dental procedure once, even though it was only topical, I felt a bit light-headed afterwards. Just be careful and listen to your body.

If you start feeling extremely tired or weak, or if your heartbeat seems irregular, don’t mess around—go to the hospital. Better safe than sorry.
