I was recently prescribed Nitrolingual 400mcg Spray 60 Doses for my angina. I've used nitroglycerin tablets before, but this spray seems to work differently. It's supposed to relieve chest pain quickly by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood flow to the heart. Has anyone else tried this spray? How does it compare to other nitroglycerin treatments? I'm curious about the side effects as well—anyone had issues like dizziness or headaches? Also, does anyone know if there are any long-term effects to be aware of?

Does anyone know if you can use Nitrolingual if you're pregnant? Just curious because I might be looking at some changes

This spray has been a lifesaver for me. I had to learn the hard way that you should avoid alcohol while using it—makes the dizziness way worse.

I've had some really bad experiences with the other nitroglycerin treatments. Nitrolingual spray works great, but the tingling in the mouth can be annoying. I've also experienced a few headaches, but they usually go away quickly.

I've had some nasty side effects, including severe nausea and vomiting. My doctor suggested taking it with food, which helped a bit, but it's still not fun.
