Just started using Zylet Ophthalmic Suspension 5ml for an eye infection – Any tips, experiences, or horror stories?
I was prescribed Zylet for an eye infection that's also causing some inflammation. I've only started using it today, and I'm wondering if anyone else has used this before. I've read the possible side effects, but I'm curious to hear about real-life experiences. How long did it take for you to see improvements? Did you experience any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? Also, any tips on administering the drops would be appreciated – I'm a bit clumsy, and I'm trying to avoid poking myself in the eye with the dropper!

Just finished a course of Zylet and it worked wonders. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quick relief. Just make sure to shake the bottle well before each use – the suspension can separate.
I had a bad reaction to the antibiotic in Zylet and had to stop using it. I had a severe burning sensation and swelling. My doctor switched me to a different antibiotic and I was fine.
I used Zylet and had no side effects but found that I got better results if I closed my eye gently for a minute or two after applying the drop. This helped to keep the medication in my eye longer.
Be careful, I had a bad reaction to the steroid in Zylet. I ended up with increased eye pressure, but it could have been a coincidence. Just keep an eye out for any changes in your vision or increased pain.
I've used Zylet a few times and never had any issues also don't find the burning to be too bad, plus it tastes funny. It's worked well for me each time.
Don't forget to tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid down to create a little pocket for the drop. This helps to keep the drop in your eye longer and makes it more effective.
