Just started Vibramycin 25mg/5ml Susp 60ml for a skin infection. Any experiences or tips to share?
Hey everyone, I've just been prescribed Vibramycin 25mg/5ml Susp 60ml for a nasty skin infection. I've read the possible side effects and they're quite frightening. Has anyone else taken this and if so, how did you find it? I wanted to share this here because I get nervous with antibiotics. I figured you fine folks would have some wisdom to share. I'm a nurse and I've seen a lot of people take this. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. If you feel weird, call the doctor.
My doctor prescribed it for a chlamydia. Warning, it might mess with your gut! Definitely take probiotics while on it.
I'm on my third day and I've had some stomach issues. Is that normal?
It's weird, but I actually had a pretty good experience with it. No major side effects, and it cleared up my infection quickly.
The sun sensitivity is no joke. I ended up with a ridiculous tan line because I forgot to reapply sunscreen.
What did your doctor say it was for? I'd be curious to know. Also, mine did say to not get me in sunlight. But I'm a morning runner, so now I'm in the shade or at least wearing a hat.
I took this and it make my teeth hurt. I work at a lab, so I'd advise just going to the doctor to rule out any teeth issues. Also, the doctor should have made sure there are no allergies to tetracyclines.
