Just started Vumerity 231mg Capsules for MS: Any tips or experiences to share?
I was recently prescribed Vumerity 231mg Capsules to help manage my multiple sclerosis (MS). The doctor said it would protect my nerve cells and reduce inflammation. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones like liver problems or PML. Has anyone else taken this medication? What were your experiences like? Any tips on managing the side effects? I've read about flushing, stomach pain, and diarrhea. How common are these and how did you deal with them? Also, what should I do if I notice any of the urgent side effects? I want to be prepared but also not overly anxious. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Seriously, if anyone has tips on dealing with the flushing, I'm all ears. It's the worst part for me so far.
I got severe stomach pain and was worried about side effects that could be serious. Doctor said it was just the meds and I should wait. It subsided after a week. It's a shame, I really like this medication.
It's sad actually. I've had some really bad experiences with other MS meds, so I'm hoping Vumerity is the one that works for me. Fingers crossed!
I was nervous about PML, but my doctor assured me it's rare. Still, I make sure to mention any weird symptoms right away. Better safe than sorry, right?
