Just started Vyvanse 60mg Capsules for ADHD: What to expect and how it feels so far?
I've just started taking Vyvanse 60mg capsules for my ADHD, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How long did it take for you to notice the effects? I've heard it can take a few weeks to really kick in. I've been taking it for about a week now, and I've noticed some increased focus, but I'm also dealing with some jitteriness and trouble sleeping. Are these common side effects that will go away over time? Also, I've read about the more serious side effects, and I'm a bit worried. How common are these really, and should I be concerned? Has anyone else had any issues with weight loss or changes in eating habits? Hoping to hear some real-life experiences and tips on managing side effects. Thanks in advance!

I had a friend who had to switch meds because of the side effects, so it's definitely not one-size-fits-all. If you have any concerns or don’t feel like things are working out, you should talk to your doctor about trying something else.
I had some really bad insomnia at first, but my doctor adjusted the dosage, and it helped a lot. Stay in touch with your doctor and be honest about how you're feeling. Also, the jitteriness should go away with time.
I was really anxious about the 'prodrug' thing too. But seriously, don't sweat it. Your body will get used to it. Just remember to drink plenty of water and eat well. Side effects were tough at first, but now it's just a normal part of life.
I wish I could say I didn't experience side effects, but I did. The dizziness was rough but it got better after a few weeks. As for the weight loss, I actually ended up eating more and gained some back. Everyone's different, so yeah, just be patient.
Serious side effects are rare, but it's always good to be cautious. If you notice anything extreme, like chest pain or severe headaches, don't hesitate to seek medical help. Better safe than sorry!
Take it easy on yourself and give your body time to adjust. I remember the first few weeks were tough, but it got better. And yeah, the weight loss was noticeable, so I had to adjust my diet to keep it balanced.
