I've just started using Yesintek 45mg/0.5ml for my psoriasis, and I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? How did you manage the injection site irritation or other minor side effects? Also, what are the best ways to recognize the urgent side effects? I want to be prepared but also don't want to panic if I experience something normal. Any advice would be great!

I had a bad experience with this one - ended up with a bad UTI. Wasn't a lot of fun, honestly. Take care of yourself and monitor for symptoms.

Has anyone else experienced a strange burning sensation after injection?

I've had a lot of success with Yesintek, and the side effects were manageable. I experienced a bit of headache and slight dizziness at first but nothing too bad. I've found that drinking plenty of water and taking it easy for the first few days helped a lot.

If anyone starts feeling lightheaded or dizzy, try to lie down and elevate your feet. Also, avoid sudden changes in position to prevent worsening the symptoms.

Did you consider asking your doctor about pre-medication? I was prescribed a topical numbing cream to help with the injection site pain. It's made a world of difference for me.

I've been on Yesintek for a few months now, and the injection site irritation goes away after a day or two. Just make sure to rotate injection sites and use a gentle massage to help with the soreness. Also, be vigilant about any signs of infection, especially at the injection sites. If you notice any abnormal redness, swelling or pain, call your doctor.

What about the long-term effects? Has anyone been on it for more than a year? I'm curious about the sustainability of this treatment.

Don't worry too much about the common side effects. They usually pass quickly, for me, it was just a bit of muscle aches and fatigue.

Be careful with the allergic reaction symptoms, everyone responds differently to medication. The first few times I took it, I had minor reactions that were manageable, but my doctor kept an eye on me and advised me to have antihistamines on hand just in case. If you experience something similar, let your doctor know ASAP.
