Just started Zelapar 1.25mg - anyone have tips on the oral disintegrating tabs?
I've just been prescribed Zelapar 1.25mg Oral Disintegrating Tabs for my Parkinson's symptoms. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the sudden sleepiness. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, any tips on taking the oral disintegrating tablets would be appreciated. I'm not sure how to handle them yet. Thanks in advance!

I've been on Zelapar for a while now. The tablets are easy to take once you get used to them. Just place it on your tongue and wait for it to dissolve. As for the sleepiness, it did happen to me at first, but my body adjusted after a few weeks. Stay safe and don't drive if you feel tired!
Why are you all so negative? The oral disintegrating tablets are actually pretty convenient. You just put it on your tongue and it melts away. I barely even notice it.
I've had some weird urges since I started taking Zelapar. Like, I want to buy everything in sight! But seriously, the meds work great for me. Stick with it if you can.
My mom was on this for a while. She had a bit of confusion at first, but her doctor adjusted the dose and she was fine. Just keep your doctor in the loop about how you're feeling.
I stopped taking Zelapar because of the hallucinations. It was crazy—I thought I was seeing ghosts! But everyone is different, so maybe you'll have a better experience. Just be cautious.
Wow, 1.25mg is a pretty low dose. Maybe that's why some people don't experience many side effects. Hope it works for you though!
