I was recently diagnosed with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) and my doctor prescribed Zilbrysq. It's a new medication that works by blocking the complement system to reduce muscle weakness. I've just started my injections and was wondering if anyone else here has experience with Zilbrysq? How has it worked for you? What side effects have you experienced? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Did your doctor give you any specific instructions for the injections? I've heard some people have trouble with them.

I've been on Zilbrysq for about three months now. It's made a huge difference in my muscle strength. I still get tired easily, but it's much better than before. The injections can be a bit painful, but the benefits outweigh that. As for side effects, I've had some irritation at the injection site and a few bouts of diarrhea, but nothing too severe.

Has anyone else had issues with infections while on Zilbrysq? I've heard that's a potential side effect, but I'm not sure how common it is.

I've been on Zilbrysq for a while and it's been a mixed bag. The muscle weakness is definitely better, but I've had some pretty bad stomach issues. It's hard to tell if it's worth it. How long did it take for you to notice improvements?

I started Zilbrysq and had a severe allergic reaction. I had to stop taking it and go to the ER. Be careful and watch for signs of an allergic reaction. It's scary but better to be safe.

I've heard good things about Zilbrysq. It's a newer medication, so it's great that there's more information and people trying it. It's important to stay in touch with your doctor and report any side effects.

Good luck with Zilbrysq! I was on it for a while, but the side effects were too much for me. I switched to another medication and it works well for me.
