I've just been prescribed Zohydro ER 10mg capsules for managing severe, long-lasting pain. I've heard that this medication is an extended-release opioid and is used when other pain medicines haven't worked. I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this medication, especially regarding its side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and more severe issues. How have you managed these side effects? Are there any tips or advice you can share? Thanks in advance!

I know it's been a rough road for you but I hope it works out. I was suffering terribly for a long time and it just breaks my heart to see someone else suffer like this. Do you know what's causing your pain? Does your doctor have a solid plan moving forward?

For what it's worth, I've heard that some people have trouble with Zohydro ER because it doesn't really help their pain, but for others, it's a godsend. I understand where you're coming from, and the potential side effects make me a bit nervous. But, hopefully your pain management goes well.

I've had some trouble with constipation, but my doctor recommended a stool softener to help manage it. It's worked pretty well so far, but I think it's important for everyone to be proactive about their health and talk to their doctors about any concerns.

I've been on Zohydro ER for a while and one thing that really helped me was to take it at the same time every day. It helped to keep my pain levels stable and I was able to have it manage my pain better. Also, I'm big on tracking my symptoms, so I have a small journal where I keep track of any unexpected side effects. This helps me be prepared for my next doctor's visit.

I've heard this is pretty strong stuff, have you tried any other opioids? If I was prescribed this and was as nervous as you, I would have a conversation with the doctor about alternatives.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard mixed reviews. I do know the side effects are serious, so be prepared to talk to your doctor and get the help you need. Good luck!

I'd be very careful with this one. I've known people who have had severe side effects, including breathing issues. Serotonin syndrome is no joke, so be mindful of other medications you're taking. And make sure to talk to your doctor about any symptoms that seem off.

My friend has been on this for a while and it's helped her manage her pain. She's also been careful about side effects and hasn't had any major issues, but it's good to be cautious, especially with the potential for addiction. Definitely talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I've been on Zohydro ER for about a year now. The extended-release formula really helps with managing pain around the clock. However, I've experienced some dizziness and fatigue. One thing I've found helpful is to take it with food and stay hydrated throughout the day. It's also crucial to avoid alcohol completely, as it can exacerbate the side effects. Also, be aware of the potential for addiction and always take it as prescribed.

Be very careful with this one. I've seen people’s lives get ruined by opioids. I guess you’d just have to take it as directed and hope for the best.
