Just started Zyprexa 10mg Injection for severe agitation. Anyone have experience with this?
Hey everyone, I was just prescribed Zyprexa 10mg Injection for severe agitation related to my bipolar disorder. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. I've read about things like neuroleptic malignant syndrome and tardive dyskinesia, which sound pretty scary. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? I'd love to hear from someone who has used it! Thanks!

I've been on it for a while, but I can’t for the life of me remember experiencing any side effects. It’s been life-changing for me, so I’d say give it a shot and see how it goes.
I know a lot of people who have had good experiences with Zyprexa. Good luck! I hope it works for you and that you get through this tough time with as little trouble as possible.
Just be patient with it. I had some rough days at the beginning, but it really helped stabilize my mood in the long run. And yes, the side effects can be scary, but I'm doing okay.
I switched from Zyprexa to something else because it wasn't quite the right fit. Each person is different, find what works for you.
