Kadcyla 100mg, Inj is a type of targeted cancer therapy that combines trastuzumab and emtansine. Given its targeted approach, I'm curious about how effective it is in treating HER2-positive cancer and more importantly, does it have any long-term side effects? If you or someone you know has taken Kadcyla, I'd love to hear your experiences and how you managed side effects. Also, what do you think about the cost-benefit tradeoff, and would you recommend it? Let's discuss!

For anyone considering Kadcyla, it's crucial to weigh the potential benefits against the risks. The medication offers a targeted approach, which can be a game-changer for those with HER2-positive cancer. But the side effects can be severe, and managing them can be challenging.

This is a serious topic. Please share your thoughts and experiences, but please be respectful and considerate of others.

Anyone else have trouble with the infusion site? It's been really irritated and painful for me. I can't believe the drug is worth all this suffering.

I've been on Kadcyla for a few months now, and while it's been tough dealing with the side effects, I think it's working. My tumor markers are down, and the side effects haven't been as bad as I thought they'd be.

I had a rough time with this drug. I experienced some severe side effects, including heart problems (cardiomyopathy) and nerve issues. It was so bad that I had to stop treatment. I wish I'd known about the potential for serious side effects. My doctor said I was unlucky and most people don't have these problems.

I had a really bad reaction during my first infusion. They stopped the infusion, and I had to go on steroids. But after that, I was fine. I had some fatigue and joint pain, but nothing too bad. I think it's worth it if it's working.

I had a few issues with mouth irritation and sores. It was pretty uncomfortable, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle while being treated with Kadcyla.

My mom was on Kadcyla. The side effects were tough, but the doctors managed them well. She had some issues with low blood counts, but the doctors gave her medications to help with that. The biggest problem was the infusion reactions, but they really helped by slowing down the infusion rate and giving her meds before the infusion.
