I've been on Kalydeco for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my lung function. I did experience some dizziness and headaches at the start but they subsided after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take it easy when you first start.
Honestly, I've had more good days than bad since starting Kalydeco. The side effects were tough at first, but the improvements in my lung function and overall well-being have made it worth it. Stick it out, and don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor if you're struggling.
I had a rough start with this medication. I noticed some rash and itching, and I was scared it was an allergic reaction. Turns out it was just a mild skin irritation. Talked to my doctor, and we managed it with some topical creme. So far, so good
