Hello all, I've recently been prescribed Kalydeco 150mg tablets for my CF. I'm excited about the potential improvements in lung function, but I'm also worried about the side effects. Has anyone else been on this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What were the most noticeable side effects? Did you experience any of the urgent side effects listed, like allergic reactions or liver problems? How did you manage them? Also, how long did it take to see improvements? Any tips for coping with the side effects would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've been on Kalydeco for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my lung function. I did experience some dizziness and headaches at the start but they subsided after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take it easy when you first start.

Honestly, I've had more good days than bad since starting Kalydeco. The side effects were tough at first, but the improvements in my lung function and overall well-being have made it worth it. Stick it out, and don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor if you're struggling.

I had a rough start with this medication. I noticed some rash and itching, and I was scared it was an allergic reaction. Turns out it was just a mild skin irritation. Talked to my doctor, and we managed it with some topical creme. So far, so good

I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience with this medication will be different. What works for one person might not work for another. It's all about finding the right balance and listening to your body. And always consult with your doctor first before making any changes.

Has anyone else had issues with liver problems? I've been feeling pretty tired lately and my stools have been light-colored. Should I be worried about these side effects or do they go away with time?
