I was prescribed Keflex 250mg/5ml Susp 100ml for a skin infection, and I am curious to hear from others who have taken it. The doctor said it is essential to finish the full course, even if I feel better. I've heard it can have some serious side effects, and I'm already experiencing some stomach pain and diarrhea. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you manage it? Also, I am really curious how easy it is to fill this prescription and if anyone has insights on assistance programs.

I had a skin infection similar to yours and was prescribed Keflex. I didn't have any major issues, just a bit of nausea. Finished the full course and was fine. I didn't get my prescription until a day later, but I went to a different pharmacy and it was easier to get.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the fatigue and extreme weakness. It was tough to get through the day. Stayed in bed and drank a lot of fluids but it wasn't easy.

I had C. diff-associated diarrhea from Keflex. It was terrifying. If you get severe diarrhea, bloody or not, go to the hospital. It can be life-threatening.

I had a severe allergic reaction to Keflex. Swelling in the throat and difficulty breathing. I had to go to the ER. Please be cautious and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction.

I've taken Keflex a few times and never had any issues. It's always worked well for me. But yeah, always finish the course even if you feel better.
