I was recently prescribed Keppra XR 500mg Tablets for seizures and have been taking them for a few weeks now. The 'XR' formulation seems to be working well, as I only need to take it once a day. However, I've been experiencing some mild side effects like dizziness and stomach upset. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? Are there any tips for managing these side effects? Also, I’m curious about the rare but serious side effects listed. Anyone have experience with those? My doctor mentioned them but I’d like to hear from others who have dealt with them.

I switched to Keppra XR from another medication and it's been a game-changer! I have less frequent seizures and the side effects are manageable.

One time I had such bad dizziness, I couldn’t walk. I ended up in the ER. Don’t mess around with this stuff, folks.

I've heard the side effects can be really bad for some people. I’m glad I haven’t had any serious issues, but it’s scary to think about.

I wish the side effects didn’t make me feel so tired all the time. And it’s hard to balance my mood swings when I’m not feeling well.

This medication has seriously improved my quality of life, so I can deal with a little dizziness. It’s not fun, but it’s worth it.

I experienced some mild nose irritation, but nothing severe. I think it's worth it to stay seizure-free.

I've been on Keppra for a while and the dizziness did go away after a few weeks. Just be patient and keep taking it as prescribed.
