I've recently been prescribed Kesimpta for my multiple sclerosis and I'm curious to hear from others who are using it, or healthcare professionals who can provide insights. Kesimpta is supposed to target B-cells and reduce inflammation, but what are the real-world experiences? Has anyone had any side effects like allergic reactions, infections, or liver problems? How often do these occur, and how severe are they? And what about the risk of PML? I'd love to hear both positive and negative experiences to get a full picture of what to expect. Are there any tips for managing injection sites, or dealing with common side effects like fatigue or headache?

I have a question for anyone whose been affected by side effects. What advice would you give to someone who is just starting on Kesimpta and feels overwhelmed?

I've been on Kesimpta for about 6 months now and it's been a life saver. My relapses have decreased significantly and I feel like I have more energy day-to-day. I did have some injection site reactions at first, but they were mild and went away quickly. I also get a mild headache sometimes but ibuprofen usually takes care of it.

I've heard some horror stories about the injection site reactions. I always make sure to change injection sites regularly and keep them clean. Also, using an ice pack before and after the injection has helped me a lot.

This medication is a blessing. I'm in my 40s and I had a very active progressive type of MS. I was terrified of getting worse and ending up in a wheelchair. My neurologist recommended Kesimpta and it has been a game changer. Even my MRI results are better!

My neurologist warned me about the signs of PML. I think it's important to be aware of those symptoms, but I try not to dwell on it too much. I keep myself informed and make sure to report any unusual symptoms right away.

PML is scary, but let's not forget that Kesimpta is a big step forward in the treatment of MS. It's not perfect, but it's a heck of a lot better than what we had before. Keep the faith, everyone!
