Ketoconazole 2% Cream 60gm: My Experience with This Fungal Infection Treatment
I recently started using Ketoconazole 2% Cream 60gm to treat a persistent case of athlete's foot. The cream has been effective so far, but I've experienced some irritation at the application site. I'm just curious if others have had similar experiences and what they did to manage the side effects. I've had to try a few different creams and this one seems to be the most effective so far. I just hope that these side effects don't get worse as I continue to use it. I know that it can cause severe allergic reactions, so I'm keeping a close eye on any changes. Does anyone have any tips on how to minimize the irritation? I've been applying it after a warm bath and letting it absorb overnight, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I had no idea this could cause such severe reactions. I'm glad I found this thread before I started using it. Thanks for the heads-up, everyone! Definitely going to my doctor first.
I applied it to a small area first to make sure I didn't have a reaction. It worked well for me, no side effects.
I've had seborrheic dermatitis for years and this cream has been a lifesaver. No irritation here, just a bit of burning initially which went away after a few days.
I had a really bad experience with it. My skin got really red and itchy and the doctor told me it was an allergic reaction. Maybe I should have washed my hands right after? I'm really leary of topical medications now.
I had a terrible reaction to it—a rash that spread all over my body. I had to go to the ER. Definitely not worth it for me.
