Hello everyone, I've recently been prescribed Kevzara 150mg/1.14ml for my rheumatoid arthritis and I'm curious to know about your experiences with it. It's an IL-6 blocker and I'm a little nervous about the potential side effects. I know it's given as an injection under the skin, which I'm not too familiar with. The prescribing doctor mentioned side effects and the possibility of UTIs which I have experienced in the past. I had to laugh at the thought of the injection. I was terrified at first but you get used to it. It’s like popping a big zit. Ouch but effective.
I've been on Kevzara for about 6 months and it's been a game-changer for my RA. The injections are a bit of a nuisance, but I've only had mild redness at the injection site. Definitely worth it for the relief it provides.
I've been on Kevzara for a few months. I had some mouth irritation at first, which was really annoying. I started using a mouth rinse and it helped a lot. Now I'm just hoping the effects keep working and don't cause me issues again.
I wish I could say the same. I had to stop taking it after a month because of severe stomach pain and dizziness. It was awful. Tried Kevzara but it didn't fit my body well.
