I've been using Lacosamide 10mg/ml Oral Solution for about six months now to manage my partial-onset seizures. Overall, it's been quite effective, but I've experienced some side effects that I didn't expect. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar issues or has tips on managing them. Specifically, I've had some dizziness and memory problems, which have been a bit unsettling. I'm also worried about the risk of suicidal thoughts, as mentioned in the side effects. Has anyone else dealt with this? I want to make sure I'm doing everything right and staying safe. Also, how do doctors typically monitor for these side effects? Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful.

I'm not sure about the suicidal thoughts side effect, as I have never faced it. But it might be due to the changes in my lifestyle and medication. It's important to note that this is a rare side effect which is something. Lacosamide has been the only medication that has been effective for me.

Have any of you tried CBD oil with Lacosamide? I've heard it can help with some of the side effects. I want to talk to my doctor about it, but I'd love to hear some real-life experiences first.

The double vision is not uncommon and I had it too. I think it's almost a contraction that happens when you take antiepileptics, but I would recommend visiting the doctor at any sign of worsening. They helped me a lot. The dosage and when you take it can also change the symptoms you face so try taking it at a different time if it's causing issues.

Make sure to report any allergic reactions immediately. I had a friend who waited too long and ended up in the ER. Scary stuff. Don't mess around with that. Lacosamide has been a game-changer for my seizures, though. I don't even remember what it was like before.
