I've been on Lamictal ODT 25-50-100mg Tb Kt Orng for a few months now to manage my bipolar disorder. The doctor warned me about the risk of a serious skin rash, and I'm seeing a small rash developing. I'll be contacting my doctor right away, but I'm really worried about it. I would love to hear from people who had a rash and what they experienced. How did you deal with it? I'm really concerned about this, as I'd hate to discontinue the medication. But I know the risks are serious. What if it gets worse while I wait to see the doctor?

I almost died I had HLH. It is no joke, not even kidding. If you feel anything like that, get to a doctor right away. Be vigilant.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I had a mild rash when I first started, and my doctor had me stop taking it for a week. I had to build up my tolerance very slowly to avoid it happening again.

I had the rash too. I have a toughness for rash - it got worse over a few days, then I switched to a different medication. Tired of the warning signs. Now I'm on a different med, and my doctor is monitoring me closely.

I had side effects, but I was able to tolerate it by eating more often – this helped with nausea. But my friend had to switch meds because of a rash and other issues.

I've been on this medication for a few years now and have had no issues with a rash but I had some really bad dizziness that I didn't realize was caused by the medication.
